Who is Joe Wootten?

Joe Wootten is the head boys basketball coach at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia. He comes from one of the most recognized coaching families in the Washington, D.C., basketball community. He is the son of legendary high-school coach Morgan Wootten, who built DeMatha Catholic into a national basketball powerhouse.

Joe followed his father’s coaching path and has spent decades involved in high-school basketball, player development, camps, and national basketball evaluation.
