Many basketball camps take hours of free play and call them \u201cinstruction.\u201d But at CWBC, we understand: You send your child to basketball camp to improve his or her basketball <\/em>skills. That\u2019s why we \u201cdo\u201d basketball all day, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

All-day skills sessions<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Mastering the fundamentals is the key to successful seasons. Each day of camp includes:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Three fundamental skill sessions personally taught by Coach Wootten<\/li>\n
  • One station period of drilling the skills taught<\/li>\n
  • Three games in which a professional coach helps players put new skills into action<\/li>\n
  • 3-on-3 games to work on basketball IQ: moving without the ball, spacing, when to cut\/screen, and more<\/li>\n
  • Skills contests<\/li>\n
  • Optional 6 a.m. rise-and-grind and 9:00 p.m. gym-rat sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


    \nIndividual, expert-level attention every single day<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    At CWBC, an experienced group of more than 75 professional coaches focus in-depth on a number of skill sets each day, including stationary moves, shooting, and more. We understand that every child\u2019s strengths are different. That\u2019s why our level of supervision is unmatched, with coaches working with campers each day and <\/em>living in the residence halls to keep campers on task and schedule.<\/p>\n

    Face time with Coach Wootten<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Coach Wootten doesn\u2019t just show up for camp\u2019s opening and closing ceremonies \u2014 he attends camp every day<\/em>, interacting directly with campers, leading clinics, and offering instruction.<\/p>\n

    Plus well-loved add-ons<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Every camper also has regular opportunities to participate in contests like round robin 1-on-1 games, the Pepsi hot shot, free-throw challenge, a last-second situational tournament, and 21 shooting, as well as supervised after-hours pick-up games.<\/p>\n

    We tackle the lessons that must be taught by example \u2014 attitude, discipline, patience, and teamwork. CWBC develops skilled players and fine young adults. Friendships, independence, and responsibility come with every camper\u2019s experience. And with catered meals plus unlimited seconds, dorm-style housing, and access to a top-of-the-line gym and recreational facilities, campers experience all the fun of the best overnight camps.<\/p>\n
